Laura Mullen is the author of two books of poetry: The Surface, a National Poetry Series Selection in 1991; and After I Was Dead, published in the University of Georgia's Contemporary Poetics Series in 1999. She was awarded Ironwood's Stanford Prize in 1983, and a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship.
