Mei-mei Berssenbrugge at Canessa Park Gallery, 6.21.09

Dear Poets & Followers of Poetry,

*Come celebrate the First Day of summer (& Father’s Day) with a Sunday afternoon reading with Mei-Mei Berssenbrugge who will be in town for a visit.*

*Mei-mei Berssenbrugge *was born in Beijing and grew up in Massachusetts.  Her books include /Empathy/ (Station Hill Press) /The Four Year Old Girl/ Concordance with artist Kiki Smith)/  Nest/ ( all Kelsey Street Press) and /I Love/ /Artists, New and Selected Poems/  (University of California Press).  A collaboration with Anne McKeown and Kiki Smith, /Fog/, is forthcoming from the Brodsky Center.  She lives in New Mexico and New York City.
