KELSEY STREET PRESS SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES:
For A Fall, 2009 Reading Period
Kelsey Street Press publishes books of experimental poetry and/or prose by women.
This year we will be considering unsolicited manuscripts.
We are particularly (but not exclusively) interested in first, second and third books and in books by writers with disabilities.
By 'book', we mean editions published with a spine and ISBN number.
We will not consider translations or artist/author collaborations for this round of solicitations.
Manuscripts must be written in English and postmarked during the month of September, 2009.
Simultaneous submissions are fine, but please let us know as soon as possible if your manuscript is accepted by another press.
No revisions to the submitted work will be considered during the reading period.
Please send your unbound manuscript of roughly 60 – 85 pages to:

Your manuscript will not be returned unless you enclose a stamped, self-addressed return envelope.
Please do not send electronic submissions.
With your submission, include the following:
1. Title page that includes your name, address, telephone number and email address;
2. An acknowledgment page listing all previously published work that appears in the manuscript;
3. Pagination.
We will confirm receipt of your manuscript if you include a stamped, self-addressed postcard.
You may expect an email response to your submission by January 15, 2010.
